I am trying to establish a site to site VPN between the RVS4000 and a PIX firewall. I've had no problems doing this in the past with a Linksys BEFVP41, but the tunnel absolutely refuses to come up with the RVS4000. The tunnel completes Phase 1 negotiation, but then the PIX complains that Phase 2 fails due to a message being unencrypted when it should've been encrypted. I've tried to correct this from every angle I can think of.

Has anyone tried this before? (and been successful)

Well I do know that the BERVP41 is the only one I ever got to work with a PIX (6.something) but I haven’t tried the RVS4000. One thing to check is your PIX version, Cisco changed a LOT of stuff when they went to v7. Lot of good changes I mite add. If you can update I would. If your PIX needs more memory for the update (ram not rom) crack the case, on the 515’s you can put in any old pc100 sdram chip.
    Hope that helps.

Have either of you guys got a config guide for getting a BEFVP41 to connect to a Cisco device? I'm trying to use a 3750, but a PIX config guide might be enough to get me there. I've spent a few hours on this but have had no luck.
