Hi, I'm using my WRT54G v2 to connect to another wireless access point for a while now, but recently another ap has popped up.
this new ap seems to have taken precedence for my router as i can no longer connect to my friends network anymore. Even though the SSID's are completely different, it still wants to keep connecting to the new network.

    Any ideas  ?

    Thanks in Advance, Dave.

    Fixed It.

Well I fixed my problem, but I thought I'd stick how I done it on here to help anyone else.

Basically I learnt how to use the Telnet program, logged into my router and scanned for any AP's in the area (just type 'wl scan; wl scanresults' after you've logged in) and then joined the specific one i wanted  (For example 'wl join "EnterSSIDHere" ')

    Job Done!

You can add that command to your rc_startup to connect automatically at startup when powered on our reboot
