    I admit that when it comes to setting up a wireless router I am totally clueless. It says it has a Push button wireless setup. But some install and config instructions for this router that I found online mention the need to enter an internet IP address, subnet mask, gateway, static DNS1, and to add the MAC address of the laptop(s) that are going to access my network and to also make sure that I add the MAC address of the desktop that I am using to setup my router first.

    My question is where do I get the above needed information to enter in order to setup my wireless router and how do I find out what version router I have?

    Thank you;

    You need to know what type of connection do you have from ISP in order to make it work. You don't need to know (at least at first) the MAC's of every computer atached to your router. As to version identification, here's a usefull link (Thx Toxic!).
