In our old house we have very thick walls and I needed to boost the signal strength between my wag54g and WMP54g.

The way I did it was simple.

Either take some card board and cover it in thick foil and tape it to the aerials and curve it so it points towards the PC you want to boost/router.

Or buy some Aluminium pie dishes (around 50p for 10 from supermarket) and tape them to each anttenna (sort of like a sattelite look) pointing to the PC which needs the boost.

This gave me 2 extra green bars.

I think the Pie dishes work a little better, probably because they are thicker aluminium than tin foil.

Of course if you have a PC behind the dish the signal will not be as good to that PC.

Hope this helps some people. It certainly helped me get thru those old thick walls!
