    Hi all,

I did a quick search but couldn't find any relavent info regarding my issue so apologies if this has come up before.

We've got a Linksys SRW2008P switch that's been in place over the last few weeks which we've been using with an ADSL router and some wireless 3com access points. It's been working fine up to now using POE.

I come back to work after the weekend to find the wireless dead. Take a look at the switch and all 8 ports are constantly lit up green. even when there's nothing plugged into the ports.

I've tried taking the power out and rebooting but when it comes back up all the green lights are still lit.

It's so frustrating as there doesn't seem to be any way of reseting it. Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated!

id give tech support a ring incase the switch has failed. just a thought have you tried using a normal power supply at all? or a different port in the switch or the device that is powering the switch?

Thanks for the reply. The switch wasn't responding whatever I did. I tried using a different adapter but no luck. Then all of a sudden it started working again after taking the power out what must have been 15-20 times all the green lights went off. I plugged in the wireless access points and it started working again! Can't understand what happened but I'm thinking it's bound to go wrong again.

Had a chat with someone at the British tech support center but the guy was absolutely useless, couldn't understand a word I was saying.
