I have a WRT54GS v4 router, where some computer are connected with ethernet, other by wifi, some with static ip, other with dhcp... What I can't find is *where*in the admin section I can find the list of all computers actually connected to the internet in order to be able to cut one access. For instance if I need in emergency to shunt internet to my wife, I can unplug the ethernet cable ^^. But for the wifi computer of my daughter, what can I do ? (and keep wifi access to other computers/devices)

    Thanks a lot

    Three ways:

    1. Parental Controls.
    - Allows you to configure times, etc, that given machines can access the 'net. I haven't used it at all, much less using stock firmware, but I'm pretty sure you just enter the MAC addresses you want locked out, then when you want it locked you go in and enable the policy, 24 hours a day. That way, the machine can still talk on the LAN, but can't get out.

    2. MAC address filtering on the wireless.
    - Denies any clients but the "approved" ones access to the WiFi network at all. Client cannot even talk on the LAN.

    3. Disable wireless access point.
    - Locks out everyone on WiFi, very reliable. ;)
