I purchased a WRT54GS for work and require a subnet mask of I saw the WifiBox firmware that says it adds support for the subnet mask I need, but doesn't say that it's compatible with the GS version. I'm currently running HyperWRT 2.1b1. Do I have any options at this point? Also, how exactly do you go about downgrading firmware?

Found Solution - Here it is

I did more searching online for an answer and found one. I'll post it here for the benefit of anyone else in the same boat as me. :)

Open a telnet connection to the router.
    Execute the following command:
nvram set lan_netmask=x.x.x.x (whatever you need the netmask to be).

Change the I.P. Address of your computer to another subnet and try connecting to the router. If everything works, open another telnet connection to the router and execute the following command:
    nvram commit

It's important to note that any settings on the router's administration page containing the subnet mask selection should be final before you perform these steps. If you click on "Submit Changes" on that page, your netmask will not be what you set it for anymore.

    Have fun!
