I reset my WRTSL54GS, flashed the router...things worked ok, but then I couldnt keep an IP from comcast. Also, every change you make, the router reboots, therefor it loses the IP address again if you finally got one....I was so frustrated with this, I went back to Thibor 17rc3...which has always been stable, but I would really like to take advantage of the ability to have multiple VWLANS

    Anyone else having this issue?

Yes, If I turned on QOS, lost internet IP and became unstable. This firmware is pretty unstable. Try the alternatives

I looked @ the sveasoft support forums. The public 1.31 still has problems with dhcp.

I'm looking for a stable firmware with wireless vlans too. Multiple ssid on Tomato would be cool.

You could try DD-WRT as well.

yeah tbh 1.31 for me was a let down. gui is buggy, and I found the dhcp was very slow. Tomato or Thibor are rock solid, but lack the only thing I now require. I may take a look at dd-wrt, however there are so may versions now I dont know which one supports multiple Wireless VLANs and is stable. anyone?

I am running V24 rc3 and it appears to be pretty stable. Using Multiple Vlans and am having no issue right now. I will say there are those that are having issues with RC3. You can always fall back to the June version of V24 which I ran for a couple of months with no issues

Will V24 ork on my WRTSL54GS? Is this DD-WRT? And it has multiple Vlans?
