yes but this was bound to happen in the end. look how much grief everyone has had regarding GPL issues and Sveasoft in the past.

tbh we should ALL be glad there are ohers who can bring out just as good firmware as sveasoft's without the hassle of either paying money to get the firmware (yes i know it is for support but you have to pay to get download access) or being banned from the forums and loose your subscription because of criticizing sveasofts firmware or business policies. No one needs any of that tbh.

Its unfortunate wolf has decided to not do any more firmware development.

Shame to see it go this way.

Wolf's contributions will be missed. Also whatever happened to lonewolf? I never understood his departure.

Good question, one I have not found the answer to yet.

I would imagine, that if Wolf were to work on alternate firmware he'd find himself slapped with some kind of lawsuit from James. Probably for the best. Too bad though!

This is the problem with closed-source work. When it goes down the toilet all your work goes with it like a sinking ship leaving no trace. At least with open-source it often lives on as inheritance in some other project.

Wolf is a good programer, but sucks as a person. Why the hell he was calling BrainSlayer "Brainfailure"? Disrespecting and insulting someone IN PUBLIC? Him and Jame$ ended apart probably becouse they are too much alike.
Don't matter that he is not part of $veasoft. Jame$ has the $$$ to hire somebody else, if help is needed.

This is what happens when people take GPL code and start considering it as their "property" and trying to make it closed.

You *can* make good money off supporting OSS, only a moron tries to steal something that is freely available. The morons will eventually bicker amongst themselves and with their own customers, who will get tired of their antics and find something else. I retract my earlier statement, Wolf won't be missed.
