    Just what it sounds like.

Had Tomato running on a Linksys WRT54GL with a DSL connection beautifully, for about a year now. Well they decided they wanted to get a T1.

Is there anyway to make this work?

    Anyone ever done this?

    Any help would be great.

The interface presented by the T1 is not compatible with the WRT series or routers. You will need to look at a Cisco commercial grade device.

You can get T1 to Ethernet bridges (even with built in CSU/DSU's) from a number of companies, so you could still use Tomato if you wanted to.

I have 2 wireless routers running tomato at 2 different offices.. Usually the company that provides the T1 will install a gateway at your end to terminate the t1 connection..
for example 1 of my connections comes from a smartjack ( the telephone companys end) then goes to cat5 to a cisco 1800 router.. On the router there is a ethernet port you connect the tomato router too.. They gave us static Ip's so you just put the info under static connection on the tomato page an you will be all set..
