Wow, that is too funny - you posted this in the middle of my typing up the front page news post!!! Still, great find! Have you used it yet? What do you think?

    Unslung vs. Stock Linksys Firmware

For the casual user (me - Windows not Linux), is there a decided advantage changing from stock Linksys firmware to the latest Unslung firmware? I use the NSLU2 as a NAS - I have had no problems with it in over a year of use ... but I would be interested to upgrade/convert if I could get additional functionality.

Re: Unslung vs. Stock Linksys Firmware

I have the NSLU2 with Unslung 5.5 firmware. The firmware not support a FAT (FAT16 or FAT32) partitions in USB slot 1 and I like to upgrade for these feature.
Linksys V2.3R63 firmware not support Telnet mode (I often use this option in remote connect and then I use a "wget" command for get files).
The new Unslung firmware (probably) support both features.
