Is there any status on the process of newer firmware available with tinyPeap? Are you working to get it as an installable package on a different firmware version? porting over to a new distribution? ETA on how long will it be?

I'm just curious about tinypeap being updated. The website is a little out of date on whats going on with it. Thanks and have a good day.

    TinyPEAP's Funeral

I have periodically been checking the TinyPEAP website for months now hoping that there were just server problems. Now I believe TinyPEAP has been locked in a dungeon, never to return again.

I have been able to locate one of the versions by doing a TinyPEAP search on google, and believe me I'll be holding onto this firmware with all I got! I just loaded it onto a WRT54G for my second time and was fortunate enough to get it to work by myself, but for the rest of the TinyPEAP fans, it would be nice to have some documentation posted somewhere for download.

Best of luck to anyone trying to get this to work. If anyone has the old documentation that walks someone through the certificate creation process, it would be mucho helpfullo if someone could post it, otherwise TinyPEAP's memory will be lost :( *TEAR*

competition from other firmware builds and popularity are probaby the main key to tinypeap disappearing (if thats the case) Also enthusiasm from the developer has a key role.

if Tinypeap has gone i shall put this forum into "Other Firmware Projects" along with wifi box as there does not seem to be any more developement of these two builds anymore.

    tinyPEAP success!

It does appear that tinyPEAP has gone into hibernation, however their website is currently working. They've got the newer windows binary and the older, satori-based WRT54G binaries (v2.13) with instructions. No sign of the newer firmwares they promised last year!

I went looking for second hand WRT54G routers on eBay then emailed about 10 sellers asking them to check their serial numbers against the table on wikipedia. All 10 replied! About half were v2.0 or older and I eventually I was able to pick up a version 2.0 for £10... absolute bargain!

The tinyPEAP/satori firmware installed without issues, so I'm very pleased.
