Hey all! New to the forum, but I've been running Toastman's E4200 build RT-N (experimental) for the last 6 months or so, with little problems.. thanks Toastman!

However, I've been experiencing a reoccurring issue when setting the custom MAC address for the 2.4ghz radio, though it seems to work fine for the 5ghz radio (aka Wireless Interface eth2). I set the custom MAC, hit save.. and it seems to be set properly until I reboot. Once I reboot, the MAC is back to the hardware's default -- again, just for the 2.4ghz interface.

I've poked around in the CLI trying to set it manually using the same naming conventions as the 5ghz interface, but no joy.

Any advice? This isn't any big deal, but it's been pestering me for awhile. Thanks in advance!

heliosj you might want to post which Toastman firmware revision you are using. you can find that in the webui --> about section. also you might want to try a newer version of the firmware and see if you can reproduce the problem. looks like Toastman release another version on June 9, 2012.

What? You're not able to read my mind? Yeesh! ;) My bad, of course I should have included that information..

I stay pretty much on top of all the latest experimental updates. This problem has existed ever since I've been using this release, I just never had the chance to track down a support mechanism.

    Thanks azdps!

Any idea if there's a temporary work around?
