I would like to know if is possible to ad nes users (diferent from the existing root) to be used with ssh + key authentication.

I would like to give ssh access from wan to some users but I don't want them using root access.

    Thanks in advance

BTW Thanks a lot Tofu it's great to have ssh access

I'm pretty sure that's not possible. As far as I know, the Linux setup in HyperWRT is hardcoded to have only one user, root.

No issues using several keys. You can do this through the web interface or changing the authorized_keys file directly.

But, what I would like to do is to add new users with less rights that root and even if possible without shell access to be capable to give then just port forwarding.

Sorry, this is really not possible.

No sorries Tufu ... is already great to have all your improvements

Just to learn a little bit

If I understood well the base firmware is restricted to just one user (the root).

Is port forwarding possible with the sshd deamon implemented on Tufu 13 ?

If not is this a limitation of the sshd deamon ?

    Thanks again

If you're asking if port forwarding is working at all even with sshd, yes it is.

If you're asking if sshd is possible from the Internet, yes: Administration: Remote Access = Enable, Remote Port = (the port).

    Hi Tofu

    Me again.

Just tested the ssh TCP tunneling with the new version 13c and it is working.

It was not working with version 13b and I supose that the reason was the old version of dropbear.

Thanks again for the great work
