    Hi @ All,

tofu has just released new version 1.02

    • Fixed several field validation problems in Basic/Network.
    • Fixed WINS setting erased on DHCP "deconfig" event.
    • Fixed awk hangs evaluating a regular expression. Seems to be a compiler quirk.
    • Fixed PPPoE may take a while to reconnect in some cases because of abrupt termination.
    • Added an option in Advanced/DHCP for reduced DHCP packet size (WAN side). Toggling this may help fix problems with DHCP failing to aquire an address. The previous behavior was the same as enabled in 1.00 and 1.01, the default is now disabled, the same behavior as the original udhcpc.
    • DDNS (ez-ipupdate) now retries if connect() fails. This is on a lower level only, it does not include errors given off by DDNS services or web site errors (incorrect password, 404, etc.).

In my setup Port Forwarding and UPnP Forwarded ports are now being listed on the appropiate GUI pages as they should! :)

    Thanks Jon!!

PPPoE does indeed seem to be a bit better about reconnecting expeditiously, which was my primary gripe with 1.01. I do wonder though, is there any tangible benefit to distributing the binaries in this esoteric .7z format which the web server isn't even configured to deliver properly? Seems like a ton of extra time for absolutely no payoff from the end user perspective.

The cisco led's can't blink more while upgrading? lol! Always...when upgrading tomato I suddenly think... I just turned my router into a brick! It's simply impossible for a light to blink faster than

Hi guys. New to Tomato, but very pleased with it so far. Thank you to everyone who works on this!!

One question: if I upgrade to 1.02, will I have to adjust all my settings again (i.e. QoS, port forwarding)?

Upgraded from 1.01 to 1.02 earlier today, just a straight upgrade with the required reboot. No problems, smooth upgrade, uptime clock around 5 hours and counting.

You can do that at the "Access Restriction" tab !
Or can do it via this firewall script

In Access Restriction you can set keywords.

der_Kief mentioned, if you go to Access Restrictions, select Add, and when you Uncheck "Block All Internet Access" you will see additional menu's -- enter your keywords in the HTTP Request box and save the rule. It is very flexible and through testing you should be able to fine-tune your restrictions.

    Or see example Jon provided:

Tomato 1.02 has been running very well for me the last day or so as the other Tomato versions have. QoS for VoIP, DNS Caching/MASQ, port forwarding, etc. all work very well. It is very lean like Jonathon mentions in the notes. Well worth the donation to him.

Still working perfectly here too... (and I have many, many port forwards as well as a heavy P2P traffic 24/7)

The update went well like every time before, I love to be online again after 2 minutes, no need to reconfigure the router :)
