If you've been following the development of one of the newest WRT54G, WRT54GL, WRT54GS firmware projects - Tomato - you'll be happy to hear there's a brand new release out today.

Tomato 0.09, available for download here, brings these few updates:
    0.09 Changelog
    • Fixed problems with "allow multicast" option: An iptables rule was added before the chain it required was built. igmprt called with the wrong interface if using PPPoE, L2TP or PPTP.
    • Fixed some minor UI problems: 0 hour time in bandwidth, WAN labeling in bandwidth, unmasked password in CIFS.
This is a mini release to fix a problem with "allow multicast" that severely affects building of the iptables filter table (firewall, forwarding, upnp, etc.). If you don't use it, you can skip this release. Most people don't really need this feature, so you can also just make sure this option is disabled (the default setting) in Advanced:Firewall.

Remember, this is only for the linux based versions of the routers.
