Hi All, can you please help me with the following?

Scenario: I have set up the CIFS(1) client to mount a share on my NAS so that the router's built Transmission client can move completed downloads to it.

Issue: the CIFS client maintains an active connection to the remote share and so prevents the HDD in the NAS from going into standby (spin down). Once I unmount the share, the HDD sping down.

Question1: Can I make transmission in the Shibby firmware access the remote share without mounting it? Will that potentially fix the issue?

Question2: Or, can Shibby firmware address the issue of not allowing the remote server to Spin Down the HDD.

Specs: Router is a Linksys E4200v1 running Shibby 101. NAS is a qnap with atom processor running 3.7.3 (latest firmware).
