I know AC3200 (dual core 1GHz) is supported with Tomato, huge thx to Shibby.
But how about with faster CPU? Like AC3100 (dual 1.4GHz) and AC86U (dual 1.8GHz)?

If BCM4709A0 (AC3200) was implemented successfully into Tomato, why
BCM4709C0 (AC3100) isn't been implemented (ATM) into tomato?
We can forget BCM4906 (AC86U) ATM, should we focus on BCM4709C0 (AC3100)?

Please enlighten us the obstacle(s) to implement BCM4709C0 into Tomato.
    Is it wl driver?
So other users will not (hopefully) ask the same question in the future.

Shibby stopped developing right after he implemented source code for the AC3200. He owned the AC3200 but I don't recall him ever saying he had an AC3100 or AC88U to work with. During that time it did seem possible to add the SDK7114 source code using the old ASUS 380 code branch. Since ASUS released the 384 source code a lot more of the source code is closed source probably making the task much harder now.

Also the AC86U uses a 4.1 Linux kernel, all the other models you mentioned use the older Linux kernel that tomato has been using for a long time.

I've never seen or heard about a developer that has tried.
