Actually... not sure what out of all the things I have attempted worked, but it seems to be installing just fine now.
Give it a go with tenda_red

    Thanks

Very strange. Literally all I changed in the CSS from the asusred theme was the filename of the header image. The whole thing's been whitespace stripped (I assume to minimize filesize) so it's kind of a mess to edit beyond a simple find/replace, but I'll see if I can't clean it up or refactor from scratch.

Alternatively (much easier,) overwriting the .png file in asusred.zip and leaving the .css alone would presumably work, albeit with very ugly file naming.

edit: Just saw your second reply. Still not working for me when I set it to TTB ID. I'll do some more testing.

edit2: For now, here's an ugly fix that leaves the original asusred CSS completely intact. The .css file itself has been renamed but is otherwise unedited. This does mean the header image is named asusred_logo.png, which I hope is ok as the rest of the file should conform to TTB naming convention. The "f1" in the zip name is just for clarity, feel free to rename obviously.

I had to reboot to make this working, never seen this before but it did resolve. I've replacedthe old version with the one you've just posted (after removing the _f1 from the filename).

    Thanks

    Hi All

    Dearest RS232

Do you think you could re-upload rs232_netgear.zip it appears to be corrupted?

Also, would you object terribly if i bastardize one of your themes?

And if i did, how could i get it uploaded to TTB?

    Cheers
    Dave

Can't believe activity toned down so much, I guess we have all those nice themes already. :)

Thank you for spotting this. Sorted now.
No feel free to do whatever you want with the themes as long as you create your own version

Thank you for providing this functionality for the router.
I am working on styling the Fresh Tomato builds and look forward to having it available on TBB.

Just build it according to the rules on the OP and post here the result (e.g. zip). I'll upload for you on TTB

For some reason I am unable to get custom.css to load unless I first load a TBB theme.
Then I can replace the css file with my own.
I also noticed that when selecting grey_w0rm theme, that the image resources included in the theme do not load.
Is there a work around for replacing spin.gif or eth_1000.gif? Or am I only to include a custom.css file?

To theme the HTML, do I manually edit the ASP files and include those in my theme.zip?

    Thank you for your time.

I don't know about the custom css, but keep in mind that tomato does a lot of caching so CTRL+F5 to force a page reload is a must.

I'm not sure what theme the HTML means, but that's me sorry.
Do skim back few posts you will see examples from other users. in general if you made a theme you just need to transform into a TTB format. Perhaps other users are able to answer your questions.
