Tomato Toastman Channel 1

    Hi, I have installed Tomato Firmware v1.28.7498 MIPSR2Toastman-VLAN-RT K26 USB VPN on my Asus RT-N16.

    I have changed my WiFi settings to Channel 11, Channel Width to 40 MHz . But when I go to Status > Overview I have:
    Security WPA2 Personal (PSK) + AES
    Channel 1 - 2.412 GHz
    Channel Width 20 MHz
    Interference Level Acceptable
    Rate 54 Mbps

    Why this difference? And why the Rate is so low.

    Did you click the save button at the bottom of the page after making the changes?

    Yep. Going to Basic > Network it is there, Channel 11, Channel Width 40 MHz, Control Sideband Upper, etc.

    Try refreshing your browser while on the Overview page. If that doesn't work a reboot of the router should clear it up.

    Yep, didn't worked.
    Reboot router
    Clear NVRAM
    Refresh Browser

    Did you set the mode to "N only"? Setting it to "auto" on my RT-16N drops the rate to 54 Mbps. "N only" shows 300 Mbps and 40 Mhz channel width.

    Is there any other client not being "N" , this would lower all links.
    Mine is "Auto" "40 Mhz" "802.11n Preamble" at Mixed Mode and "Upper" and get 300Mbps but when connect my Iphone drops to 54Mps.
    Btw, watch "Afterburner" to be Disable.
