I have a WRT54GL uplinked to an older linksys model somewhere on the other side of the house with wireless disabled. When I first did this, all wired connections would work and wireless to the WRT54GL would work. However, now, due to some weird reason, connecting to the WRT54GL through wireless would always leave the default gateway of (my uplink router's IP). This would make all the wireless connections not function. I thought an update would solve this, but it hasn't worked. I flashed my NVRAM this morning hoping to clear this issue but once again, nothing was solved.

Anyone have any suggestions as to why it's pointing to the wrong gateway through WIRELESS only?

you'll probably have to reconfigure the second router's dhcp server - either disable it entirely (which is probably the better route), or set it to send out the GL's ip as default gateway.
a third option would be to add the GL as "the older model"'s default route, but that's a ****ty solution.
