I began to use tomato and DD-wrt on my Linksys wrt54gl 4-5 years ago : ) Even though dd-wrt is the original guys for bringing repeater functions and more, I have to favor Tomato simply because of it's (repeated for 1000th time) simplicity and function. : ) Few months ago I discovered Tomato with kernel 2.6 for the wrt54gl and it showed better use of RAM and more smooth function in my opinion.

I recently got the Asus RT-N16...last decade I had a home PC with half (or less) the specs : P just so I can use tomato. It really feels like home to see tomato on my new router. I don't mean to say I bought the router to keep you great coders keep on coding! The firmware works almost perfectly and I wont complain otherwise. : D

Much thanks to the original Tomato man Jon (he doesn't have a forum on his site), Rodney Clinton Chua (speedmod) and of course our resident Tomato USB man teddy_bear:birthday:

(and toastman because I've seen ur name all over the place, and many other talented people I don't know because I'm a n00b to the forum)
