    ok, silly probably....

i set-up a static ip and now i'm trying to access the settings for my wrt54g router....(by typing the ip in the addy bar)...

the catch is the user and password prompts....I can't get in!!!

I don't recall setting anything up here and the default (i think) is a blank user and "admin" for the password...

Looking for the default login info...or the way to look up the way i *might* have set it up (only if I had to orginally, which i don't remember)

    Can anyone help?

Hi, the default user name is, "linksys" and the password is, "admin" If that doesn't work and you maybe did change the user and/or password and don't remember it, you can always do a hard reset by holding in the reset button on the back of the router for approx. 30 seconds or until you see the LED lights on the front of the router reset. However, if you do a hard reset, all of your router's settings will return to default.
    Good Luck! 8)
