Tunnel Connected but ping request timed out

  1. I have a RV042 VPN Router in central office, need conected a client from other office i'm ussing ipsec becuase linksys vpn client not work property.

    When ping to ip address of central office see the message Negotiating Ip Security, on log router see the followin message

    [Tunnel Negotiation Info] Quick Mode Phase 2 SA Established, IPSec Tunnel Connected

    the client is behind a linksys wrt300N, i actived the vpn passtrou, not have firewall.

    Not understand why the ping not work.

    vpn passthru has nothing to do with allowing ping, it only allows a single vpn connection to pass thru the router. You need to either allow ping traffic through the router firewall and nat redirect accordingly or turn off the firewall on the router but you will still need to redirect the traffic you want to send inside.
