I believe this has been discussed before...I'm just apparently not a good searcher.

Is it possible to turn of the WAN(Internet) light on the front of my WRT54GL?
I have cable internet and my router picks up outside line traffic.
Basically, the light is annoying. I know I can put tape on it, but I'd like to turn it off, if possible.
    Thank you.

After further review, it looks like it's not available to turn off.

    # led
    led <wlan/diag/white/amber/dmz> <on/off> [...]

    led white off
    led amber off

    Does that work?

Only the leds below can be turned on & off

    Pin Direction Name Use
GPIO 0 Output WLAN LED (LED - wireless)
GPIO 1 Output POWER LED (LED - power)
    GPIO 2 Output ADM_EECS (LED - white, Cisco button v. 3.0+)
    GPIO 3 Output ADM_EESK (LED - amber, Cisco button v. 3.0+)
GPIO 7 Output DMZ LED (LED - DMZ)

The script for this (not tested):

#This is the LED to hack
        $gpio disable $led
