Purchased a WRT54GS Version 6 router and set it up with Easy Link. All was fine hooking up desktop and wireless laptop but my son’s Macintosh was not connecting. Contacted Linksys and they told me to upgrade the firmware from the original v1.5.5 to v1.5.9. Followed their instructions after downloading…. all lights are on showing connection to the internet but I have no internet on the desktop which is wired to the router nor can I even connect to the access point from the wireless laptop. If any one has any suggestions, please let me know.

Refresh the IP on the desktop to verify connectivity to the router. You should then beable to log back in if connectivity is good and go from there. Also, sometimes when you do firmware upgrades the wireless settings get reset, you can verify that once you log back into the router.
