I have a toshiba laptop (on Intel PRO/Wireless card) and am getting strong singnal, but after 5 minutes of work the connection fails. It reports that it has multiple networks click here to select. When I select my network it just recycles the same message and never connects. If I restart the laptop it connects for 5-10 minutes then starts the same cycle. Any ideas on why this is? Is there a fix to this issue?

Laptop is running Windows Enterprise Server 2003. The 54G is running at 58mw, channel 9 (all other networks are running on ch 6) with 128 bit WEP is enabled.

Also when I set the 54G to channel 13 I'm not able to get the laptop to see the AP (the channel select only goes up to 12), anyone know how to get it to run on channel 13?

By the way once I put MustDie on my signal strength went through the roof! Great job!

doesn't sound like a firmware prob

... it sounds more like interference,

try changing channels through the wired interface to something like 11 or 13. you described exactly the problems I was having untill I changed channels. just keep trying different channels untill you find one which is stable. for me it's chanel 13.
