I know this thread title may be weird, but here is the problem I meet.
I live in France, and my FAI is named free (www.free.fr). It offers a modem, which named is freebox that is composed of 2 devices :
    • the modem
    • The "tv" device
The modem is connected to the phone plug, and connected to my tomato wrt54g, holds my public IP address
The "tv" device is a device which contains a hard drive, a dvb-t decoder is connected to the tv and is linked to the modem by using wifi (for the first versions of the freebox), or by using electricity plug (I don't know the english word for CPL)
My FAI released a new feature which allows to use UPNP-AV media server as such Windows media player to be used to play movies on tv, without having to use the hard drive of the "tv" device. This device also has a public IP address, and so doesn't belong to my lan IP addresses (192.168.x.x)
So when I run this feature on my tv device, it says it can't find any media server : it seems that tomato blocks the broadcast or UPNP request from coming from the wan port.
    So my questions are :
Did someone understand what I said ?
Is there a way I could tell tomato to accept UPNP request coming from my "tv" device ?
    Best regards,
