Uptime Problem

Discussion in 'Tomato Firmware' started by Deleted member 11179, Aug 10, 2007.

  1. I can't seem to get Tomato running more than 2 days or so.

For some reason it keeps resetting, as the uptime counter goes back to 0

It happened with DD-WRT as well...dunno what else to do.

I tried Clearing the NVRAM and doing a Hard reset.

    Any ideas?

    Have you tried a UPS?
  3. Yeah it's actually hooked up to a UPS

So I'm gonna try taking it off now...

If is it hooked into a UPS, try to unplug the cord of the wall and see if it works like it should, maybe the battery is quite old and you need a new one, or you have attached more devices that it can handle.
  5. Thanks for your replies.

UPS works fine. All it has is a DSL modem and the router

I have the same issue with my buffalo g54s. But it's better than before, where dnsmasq would crap out after a day.
  7. I can never understand how people can have 10+ uptimes.

    I can't even get 24 hrs sometimes.
