It would be nice if it would be able to enter dynamic DNS URLs like <userhost>.dyndns.org. I have a dynamic ip adress from my ISP and I want enter my ip adress at the router from my parents. But I can't do it because I have all 24 hours another ip adress. ;*(

I'm looking at my router's web admin interface via a dynamic dns URL right now. Have you tried it?

NOTE: you ISP may block port 80 (mine does :-(), so you may have to change the port for remote access.

I have a useful dyndns ip. But I want enter that I can enter the router from my parents, only. And I can't enter there a dyndns URL.

Okay, I think I understand what you are trying to say now. You'd like to be able to enter a hostname, rather than ip address, in the "Remote Web/SSH Admin Restriction->Allowed IP Address" field. The IP I access my web interface from from (work) is static so I guess I didn't notice that restriction.

While it isn't available in the web interface, it could probably be done fairly easily in a script. I'd imagine there is a NVRAM variable that needs to be set with an ip address, and you could set up a cron job that periodically resolves that hostname to an ip address and stores it in the nvram location. I don't have access to the tomato source right now (at work, supposed to be working ;) ) so I can't look up the variable, but once that is known it should be pretty easy.

Anybody here know what variable that would be?

    Yes, that's it what I mean/want.
