    Hi guys,

I've got a BEFW11S4 and want to extend it's coverage with a WAP54g. I know the "repeater" mode isn't supposed to work unless it's a WAP/WRT54 combo but I've been seeing things regarding "lazy WDS". I can't find anything defining WDS but it sounds like it's basically what linksys calls "repeater mode". I've upgraded the BEF to the latest which claims to support "Lazy WDS" and I've upgraded my WAP54G V2 to 3.04. I tried doing "repeater mode" again on the WAP and still no mas.

Any ideas? Am I on the right track? Do I need one of these special rev's of FW?

Any info would be great. I'm having a hell of a time with this.

I've been continually searching these forums to answers to this problem. In my hunt I'm finding many people posting questions without any support what-so-ever. I dont know if the collective knowledge of the board is not sufficent to support the questions and problems being posted or if people are just unwilling / un-interested in helping others.

Regardless, with such a large following, it's disapointing the support people flock here seeking, just isn't.
