    Good afternoon,
I just recieved from Vonage a Linysys WRTP54g with 2 phone lines. (firmware 1.00.60) Works great. But I need to use the analog lines to dial into some old computer systems via modem for servicing. The connections seemed to work quite well for a few minutes, then I lose carrier on the modem. QoS is at max line quality. Cable modem at 4meg down,400k up. Get same results without touching internet(no downloads, no page refresh).
Anyone have experience with this type of application and is this something which simply will not fly?

try using a us robotics v.92 33.6k external modem for this on both ends. they seem to be able to get through when nothing else can. you can find them all over if you look for near nothing.
