Using WRT54GS and getting browser timeouts

  1. I have a WRT54GS router and a cable modem connection. I have a particular website I visit and have received browser timetouts the last two days (i.e. in the past could access w/o any issue). Otherwise my internet connection is behaving normally (can access other websites w/ no issue). I am trying to establish that this is a web server problem and not a problem with some file corruption, router firewall or other issue on the client (my) side. Here are the facts.

    1. Both IE6 and Firefox time-out (URL not found) when the http address is typed into the browser.
    2. Running PING command from MS-DOS Command line interface indicates packets are received from the subject http normally (test passed).
    3. Running PING and TRACEROUTE commands with the subject URL from the Linksys WRT54GS Administration Diagnostics screen results in success (packets received). My Firmware is Linksys 1.05.2.
    4. I have all four available Linksys Firewall (Block WAN request) options enabled, but I have not changed this in several months (i.e. had those enabled when I could successfuly access the URL in the past).

    Is this definitely a server issue?
