  1. I just spoke to a Linksy tech guy about this firmware update(v2.3r76) and he advised me not to install it as it is not an official upgrade from them.Which is a bit late as i have already installed it.Could any posters who have this upgrade tell me if it's safe and what the changelog is.

Well well, it was an official upgrade posted on the Linksys.com website, and the GPL source-code was posted on the ftp site. It was there 10 days ago, but not now!

I see the website has reverted to a 4 year old version, older than that that recent devices were shipped with!

I've seen official betas for versions 71, 72, 73, 75 as well. I recall there were some fixes for Vista and large drives, but I don't currently use Linksys firmware at all on my de-underclocked NSLU2...

I think the r76 is a minor update. We can see a very real upgrade only when is possible to use firmware like OpenWRT on our NAS200.......
Jac is just working on it........
i believe in jac hard work!

Thanks for the compliment but I believe this thread pertains to the NSLU2, not the NAS200.
