As other have reported getting better than 11Mbps speeds I am stumped..

I have uses net stumbler to check for other access points and set my channel to get the best Signal to Noise ratio I can get.

I have also set the mode to G only so B clients can not connect and should not slow down the connection.

In the advanced section I have tried changing the Transmission Rate but no matter what I pick it always goes back to auto and netstumber shows it as the detected Speed as 11Mbps.

    Are you using channel 14?
    Channel 14 only allow 11Mbps.

Are you saying this is a bug in the firmware or a universal limitation of channel 14? (I live in the US so I never use channel 14...)

I am not sure why, I tried channel 14 before and the maximum connected speed is 11Mbps.
I think is a limitation of the driver for channel 14 to have max 11Mbps.

I am using channel 11 which is the highest I can use in Canada.

Anyway.. I will test it with another wireless device to see if it is just my wireless device or not.
