v23-SP1 PPTP VPN with default route - howto?

I'm trying in vain to set up a VPN on a WRT54GL so that *all* traffic is routed through the VPN server. Fiddling eith loopback and/or PPTP passthrough did not seem to have any perceivable effect.

The GUI would only let me enter subnets. And to my dismay I realized, that after connection to the VPN-server, a route is set up that routes the VPN-server itself through its own tunnel (instead of the vlan interface). Even when changing routes while the connection ist still being active, I'm unable to ping and or hhtp - the packets just appear to be lost in outer space.

This might be caused by the VPN-server sharing its public ip (pptp.relakks.com) as the PPTP connection endpoint, a rather unusual, but in my opinion perfectly legal set up - everything works flawlessly when using Windows to establish the PPTP connection including the default route.

I've got to admit, that I'm quite new to both, DD-WRT and Linux, so any help or hint would be gladly appreciated for.
