    I have a Linksys BEFSR81 ver. 3.

I have one PC with Windowx XP Pro and one with Windows XP Home both conencted to the router.

I simply want to be able to see files and folders on each computer. I tried running the 'Network Wizard' hat comes with XP where a 3.5" disk is created and then taken to the other computer but it doesn't work.

Do I need to do something with the BEFSR81? The Internet connection is being shared with absolutley no problem.

    Be gentle. :drinking:

No, you don't need to do anything with the router. Assuming both computers can talk to each other, sharing files and printers is just a Windows configuration issue.

You can read through this article on how to set up windows file and folder sharing.
