Thinking about getting vonage soon, just wondering if anyone else here has it and if they have it working perfectly with tomato's QoS? Are there any issues? :)

    Vonage works fine.

I'm a Vonage user since December of 2003. We've been using our Vonage/Motorola setup on high-speed internet (first RoadRunner, now Charter) continuously since that time, beginning with a BEFSR41 router and moving to a WRT54G v5 wireless router around 2006. The WRT54G v5 was problematic in that it would lock-up in 3-5 days, so that's when I took the plunge and bought an older WRT54G v1.0 to install Tomato onto. Things have been absolutely trouble-free since then.

I'd recommend you set the QOS in Tomato to prioritize Vonage traffic, giving it the lion's share of upload bandwidth to optimize call quality. I'm assuming you're running a cable modem vs. DSL, I've had no experience running Vonage over the latter. I'm not sure that would even be a viable option, unless one had killed their phone service and are running DSL on a "dry" twisted pair coming into the home.
