    Hi all,

I have a problem setting up a VPN using IPSec (EPS) with my WAG54g. My wife can set up a VPN to her office without any problem using TCP or UDP encapsulation on her Cisco VPN Client, but my Alcatel VPN Client messes up.

I succeed in setting up the VPN, but then I don't have any DNS anymore (can't look up, can't ping, ...). I guess the issue is the IPSec passtrough (NAT traversal) of the WAG54G.

    Any ideas, suggestions, ...

    Hi Pieter

This won't help you, but I have a similar problem (apart from the VPN client software - I can't remember what we have), except that full internet/VPN/resource access works fine on my laptop, but not my wife's (different VPN/company). She can log into her VPN, but can't access internet or her work network resources.

I don't know what router settings to use... :?

Interestingly, her IE set up uses a proxy server. When I turn this off (in the registry, because her IE settings are locked for Admin access only), she can actually get to the internet, but this doesn't seem to help get to her work network resources (and she still can't get onto the internet via her intranet, or replicate Outlook etc).

I have left a similar post on BBB (I bought the router from them), so hopefully we'll come up trumps one way or the other  ....

    All help and ideas welcome!
