VPN to a Watchguard Firebox

    Hello There,

    is it possible to build a vpn tunnel to a watchguard firewall??

    I'm using v4.71.1, Hyperwrt 2.1b1 + Thibor15c

    as yet, thibors firmware does not support VPN tunneling, however you could if watchguard supports it, setup the VPN access direct from your PC with VPN passthrough enabled on the WRT

    It works, We have that for our work. Use their software on the PC, let the firewall know it needs to go out, and then as Thibor said - let it pass through the router.

    No problems from my end with this VPN software and Thibor's firmware - very sold, very handy

    I want to set it up the way you are asking (A tunnel from my router to work's router)

    I believe newer linksys models support vpn tunneling, and I think DD-WRT does as well

    DDWRT has a a PPTP Server, so it your Works router supports that protocol as well you can have your VPN tunnel.
