WAG200 bricked

    I wanted to update the firmware from my laptop over wifi (i know , that was a bad idea),
    the wag said "All internet connections will be closed", and wait wait wait, upgrading still at 1%, I finally rebooted the wag by removing the power cable... Now the power led is always red, can't ping..

    1 connect to your WAG with ethernet CABLE (i know you know you shoud not have used WIFI but you did ;) )
    2 power off
    3 open 2 dos box, on the first one type "ping -t then enter to start to ping.
    into the other dos box, type tftp -i put code.bin (code.bin is the name of your firmware).
    4 power on wag, as soon as the ping reply ok, fire the tftp command.
    Then wait.

    If it does not work, try another tftp client (may be one supporting password and use admin as password), or try setting your ethernet link to 10 half duplex, or power on keeping holding down the reset button for 30 Seconds before doing all steps to get back to factory default. (if there's a reset button, i don't remember and am too lazy to climb upstairs to watch my wag)

    This, is the "easy" way, if you WAG is not too ... bricked.

    the wag never pings ... i launch the ping, switch on the wag and no ping response
    I tried on the default ip and on the setup ip

    sounds dead, then. contact Linksys Tech support for an RMA and get a replacement. as long as you have the receipt of purchase.
