I'm wondering how I can assign a fixed IP to my network devices. I want to run a FTP server but each time I restart my computer it assings a different IP to the machine which has the FTP server on it, thus port forwarding gets messed up.

Is there a way to make the WAG325N assign the same IP all the time?

I've also tried to change settings on XP and assigned it a IP manually however then turned on my PSP and the router also assigned the PSP with the same IP causing a conflict.....

Looks like you can't which is so very strange, even cheap routers have this feature. One way to work around the conflict is to assign IP manually via the Operating System and then to start the Starting IP Address to a higher value than what your static IP devices are. This way the DHCP wont assign an IP already being used.

I just hope linksys put more thought into their future firmwares!

Agreed, its quite frustrating too because i've had my ip change twice now and i have to setup my port forwards all over again.
