    Hi guys,

I'm currently using a WAG54G (with a D-Link DWL-G520+ wireless adaptor) and well, I hate it because of the single port forwarding issue, but mainly because of the countless number of wireless disconnections I encounter.

I am willing to try almost anything to get rid of the wireless disconnections and if that involves running unreleased firmware so be it, it couldn't be any worse.

If anyone could point me in the direction to download the 1.02.5 firmware I would really appreciate it.

    My e-mail is 1gigofspam@gmail.com

Oh bugger. Heres hoping that it gets released real soon and that it resolves the wireless dropout problems + single port forwarding issues! :(

I am using 1.02.3 and it works fine for me. Looking via the wireless connection to streaming video without problems. I have read in the forums about two things: 1) Heat problems. and 2) Disabling of the 802.1X verification in the properties of your lan connections. (Sorry I'm Dutch so I have Dutch software and maybe differnet menu options)

    Give it a trial anyway.

I have tried version 1.02.5 and wireless looks the same as before. In front of the router connection speed fluctuates between 11 and 54 Mbits, with signal/noise ratio steady.

Performance is lower that a low cost 11b access point, and after a transferring 200 Mb, wireless drops, wifi led is off and wireless status on web administration is up, but MAC address is blank.

My computer has XP SP2, and works fine on other 11b and 11g access points from other manufactures.

I haven’t tried single port forwarding, but this looks the same as before.

Any idea of what has been solved? on this firmware???

I'm using this firmware in Australia and it works pretty good, I have noticed the single port forwarding works good now.

I've loaded 1.02.5 as well now. Definite improvements make it worth upgrading (e.g connected clients now appear in the reports, at least!)

Anyone got Logging going under [Administration/Reporting]? I can't seem to Enable logging, am getting an "Error on Page" message when I try to [Save Settings] and the page doesn't save.

Would like to get Wall Watcher running with it. (http://www.wallwatcher.com). Anyone got it to recognize a WAG54G? (I guess if no-one has logging going yet, this question is moot!) :?

On another front, I keep getting "The Page Cannot be displayed" when I change pages (did this on other previous versions too. Maybe a browser config issue, do you think?). If I refresh, the page then comes up okay.

(Note: I haven't updated my Win XP Pro to SP2 yet. Will it make any difference?)

    Any thoughts/help appreciated. Cheers.
