The AU ver 1.01.13 will become official soon so it will follow to all the other EU firmwares annexA or annexB (EU,E1,DE etc etc).
How soon? Thats a thing i don't know but i think it won't be more than a week. That's good news to AnnexB(E1 and DE) customers and AnnexA(EU and AU) who don't want to have beta firmwares in their units.
And if someone who have a UK or a FR (prop live in UK or FR)unit read this post can he plz check his box end tell me what it says on the bottom of the box next to the bar code?

    Model No.:

As far as i know the "??" can be AU, EU, E1, E2(noone seems to know what this is) or DE
but with the UK and FR firmwares around i'm a little bit confused.
    Mine says WAG54G-E1.
My guess is that the UK and FR units says WAG54G-EU but i want to make sure.

Can't see what difference it makes myself  If they release it as a beta and then later make it official it's still the same firmware and so will run the same.

So after all trere are -FR and -UK models. But if it works with the EU it will also work with UK so EU=UK=FR.I asked because at the source code download there is only one src for EU UK and FR so The "out of the box" firmware 1.00.19 is the same or compiled with other options.
And thanks for the reply HiSpeed ;-)

TazUk for some of us it's the same for others like me means that i'll get a new firmware (AnnexB don't have betas). The change for me is like changing from 1.00.19 to 1.01.15.You remember 1.00.19 don't you? ;-)

I think it relates to the default settings for VPI and VCI as these are different depending on the country it's being used in. UK routers should come with them set to VPI=0 and VCI=38.

But this is something you can change...Diff firmwares for default settings?...I'm not saying that you r wrong but i'm wondering why is that.Don't the providers provide the info to setup any router?
