I have successfully connect wirelessly between the WAP54G (setup as access point client) to the WRT54G (setup as wireless router). But I want to be able to view the link status in detail, such as RF performance, link quality, signal strength, connection bit rate, etc. The status window of the WAP54G only shows the number of lost packets. Is there a way to do it?

There are many power boost firmware in this forum, but what is the use of it if you don't even know what power level you are getting.

But how do you setup NetStumbler when the WAP54G is connected to your PC via ethernet. I don't see a selection in NetStumbler that allow you to add devices accessible via an IP address?
