I take it nobody successfully obtained a cfe.bin for wap54g v2? The only file I found supposedly for that model was actually for a wap54g v3 (the md5 sum matched identically, even, to the v3 file). I'm trying to put one together from the cfe.bin and .txt files in the open source distribution but without any luck so far.

I have a working JTAG setup. The flash appears to be OK since I was able to erase it entirely and verify the contents were exactly what I had flashed onto it. It was hosed already so I couldn't have gotten a good CFE from it in the first place.

    thanks a lot!

The 12-pin JTAG header is on the same side of the board as the reset button. The pinout is the same as the WRT54G, which is documented at http://wiki.openwrt.org/OpenWrtDocs/Customizing/Hardware/JTAG_Cable. Pin 1 has an arrow next to it, as one would expect.

I am using the cheap unbuffered cable without issues.

If you get this working, could you back up your CFE.BIN? Thanks.

i am having problem to use internet in more than one computer at the same time. i am using WAP54G as client to receive signal with the help of panel antenna. i can use only one computer at a time. i want my laptop and my desktop to work in the same time.

If it works, I will try my best. I have to build a new Cable and then I will build the Interface on the WAP board.

I will tell you my result, If it works

Ok I readout of my whole flash.

I saw that my CFE.BIN is broken. I need a new one for my Linksys WAP54G V2. I would take a whole flash file too.
