I downloaded the latest drivers for the wcg200, hoping for it to be an auto install, but it is not.

My question is, how do you install drivers for the wcg200?

your using the USB? if your using the USB it should prompt you to install and then direct it to the file/s/ you downloaded. If your using the ethernet port theres no need for the drivers

    thanks for the fast reply.

The problem is, ive constantly been getting:

    1970-01-01 00:00:42 - critical - DHCP WARNING - Non-critical field invalid in response.

    1970-01-01 00:00:33 - critical - No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out

1970-01-01 00:00:27 - critical - SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Failed to acquire QAM/QPSK symbol timing

Someone told me i needed new drivers, i guess that is not the case. Do you know what i can do about these critical errors?

These erros have nothing to do with USB drivers for the box. The errors describe the inability of the 200 to propery negotiate DHCP with your ISP. The WCG200 is only firmware upgradeable from you ISP, per the DOCIS sepecification.

I just bought a WCG200 with high hopes, but the box has serious organic problems. I may have to go to a motorola 5120 for cable modem and the wrt54l to do the WLAN router.
