    hi all:

i used to live in ks and my isp was cox cable.
    i rented a linksys wcg200 v2.0

i moved to iowa and mediacom is my isp.
on mediacoms website it says the wvg200 v2.0 is "APPROVED" which is even higher then their "COMPATIBLE" modems.

i cant seem to get this modem to work on mediacoms network.
mediacom provisioned my mac address and all the lights on the cable modem are green
mediacom says it looks fine on their end when they ran tests on it.

i can get into the web admin in the wcg200 but there are some "hidden" settings i can not access.

is there a way to telnet or ssh into it?
if so does anyone know how i can do it or have the master L:p so i can re-enable the original factory settings?

my current isp (mediacom) says that cox might have issued me 2 IPs or 2mac addresses before and they can only do one.

does any of this make sence?

    please help.

if you already registered the MAC address and your ISP told you that they can see it, then it should work.

Unless the firmware is provisioned by the previous ISP.

If you go to the status tab, is it showing your WAN IP address?
