wds dhcp server issues

Over the holidays, I set up wds at my parents house.

This was a change over from a client version. They wanted to share files and printers, and I couldn't get the static route to go properly on the client version. Plus the additional wireless range is needed.

When it worked, it worked well but...

Unfortunately, the dhcp server has stopped functioning (both wireless and wired) for both for the internet connected router and "other" router. Static ip works fine, however one machine NEEDS dhcp because tcp/ip config is locked down by my mother's work.

I have only one dhcp server turned on, the other is disabled. Internet connected firmware is the version just before the christmas final, and the other is from about thanksgiving.

    Any suggestions?

My sister has to use her Instant Messaging soon or else!

i had problems with dhcp too until i checked the box labeled "Use DNSMasq for DHCP" on the basic setup page(where you put in the ip address of the router).

    hope this helps.
