Weird network blackout with OpenVPN

I'm using ViscosityVPN (a nice GUI for OpenVPN Mac OSX). So far, it's working just fine to connect to my work network. Except that I have a very weird bug (and I even don't know if it's related to Viscosity) : each time I disconnect from my VPN, my home network where I am currently connected suffers a total network blackout. Meaning, no more access to the internet on my computer AND all others computers connected to my home network while local networking still works (web interface to Tomato works). After 1 or 2 minutes, internet comes back and all the computers connected get their internet working again (without me touching anything and the router did not reboot).

I'm thinking that this is an issue with my home router (Linksys WRT54GS running Tomato firmware 1.23 standard (don't mind my sig)) and it's routing getting "affected" by OpenVPN (but how is this possible ?!).

    Help appreciated, thanks !
